Etsy is my new favorite place :)

Tue Nov 4, 2008, 6:04 PM
I just found a freaking awesome new site. I'd been having problems finding a decent medium to sell my Little Dudes online, but a friend of mine stumbled across Etsy, and I have to say... I've spent waaaay too much money there! It's all for hand-made stuff, and there's even a section called Geekery! Dude!

My site there is [link] if anyone is interested in buying any of my Little Dudes. As I have to pay for each item posted, whether they sell or not, I'm only going to start with a few Final Fantasy characters until I'm certain it's worth the money. But, hey, if anyone definitely wants any of the 2D figures I've posted pictures of up here, email me at nekorequest@hotmail.com and I'll pop it onto my Etsy store :D

Off to search through more Geekery .... YAY!

Hey there, I noticed that you like cross stitching. I made a website for anime/video game/nerdy patterns. I was wondering if you want to join our community or donate some of your patterns to the site so people who can’t make their own patterns can enjoy something they love to. Let me know if your interested ^-^

You can PM me or email me at: deejaybeta16@gmail.com

The site is: [link]
And the forum is: [link]

i've been doing cross stitching for a few months now and have found it extremely time consuming. i've been wanting to get into needle point but have no idea how to. like what fabric i have to use, sting, etc. have any pointers for a n00b like me?
:iconnekorequest:
Definitely start with those pre-made sets, like from Mary Maxim, or Michael's craft stores. When you learn the basics with their sets, then you can get on to custom designs more easily :)

The NekoRequest website is here [link] to order the actual needlepoint figures
